$2.15 a Gallon Gas in Ryal Side - A Bygone Era?
It was only a few years ago you could get a gallon of gasoline for $2.15 in Ryal Side. Will those days ever return?
The former gas station on Bridge Street, at the corner of County Way in the Ryal Side neighborhood, has been closed for years now, but the sign still remains, displaying $2.15 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas. - with full service too.
On Friday, the average price of regular unleaded gas in Beverly was $3.38 per gallon, holding steady from a week earlier but down 19 cents per gallon from a month earlier. The least expensive gas was at Super Petroleum on Cabot Street.
