  • Police responded to a report of a car accident involving a trash truck at the corner of Cabot and Chestnut streets on Thursday around 7 a.m.
  • A man didn't get his cash from an ATM because of a power surge in the area of Rantoul Street on Thursday around 7 a.m. The ATM company was called and the customer got his money.
  • Officers responded to a report of a man banging on the doors of Hannah Elementary School on Thursday around 11 a.m. The man said he was trying to tell the principal about kids throwing rocks at birds.
  • Shayne Ann Decesare, 51, of Beverly, was arrested on charges of trespassing after police were called to Rantoul Street on Thursday around 2:30 p.m. on a report of an unwanted guest.
  • Laurie F. Fitzgerald, 51, of Beverly, was arrested on charges of drunken driving, reckless driving, and failing to stop or yield on Thursday after a report of a car accident on Thursday around 3 p.m. in the area of Spring and Colon streets.
  • Nelson Morales, 48, of Beverly, was arrested on two counts of disorderly conduct after police responded to a report of a man breaking up an apartment on Lovett Court on Friday around 4 p.m.
  • Police responded to a report of a woman "thrashing around" in a car on Saturday around 2 a.m. on Rantoul Street. The car left before officers arrived.
  • Officers responded to a report of a raccoon in a Valley Street backyard on Saturday morning. The raccoon appeared sick, and was put down.
  • A man was reportedly screaming at passing cars on River Street on Monday around 9 p.m.
  • Someone reported a large snake in a Dodge Street house on Tuesday around 3 p.m. The eastern milk snake was removed from the home.
