State Police Urging Caution on Slick Roads

Police are reporting slick roads, especially on Rte. 128 due to ocean effect snow.

Beverly, MA - If you are heading out on Rte. 128 or other local roads this morning, use caution.

While winter is almost over, some early morning ocean effect snow has made roads slippery on Friday morning.

State Police patrols are reporting slick roadways on Rte. 128 from Beverly to Gloucester and are urging drivers to use caution and reduce speeds.

Around 8:15 a.m., a motor vehicle accident with an entrapment was reported on Rte. 128 South in Gloucester at Rte. 133.

Accidents and slippery conditions have also been reported in Peabody and Danvers.
