Stolen Lawn Ornaments, 'Looking For 114': North Shore Police Logs
Suspicious person learning to drive, a car gets stuck in the sand, and more from North Shore police logs.

- Police responded to Washington Street last Thursday around 8 p.m. on a report of a man walking down the street and yelling out loud.
- Officers responded to a report of someone locked inside the gate at a storage unit on Monday around 9 p.m. The person was let out.
- Someone called police to report a group of youths "possibly up to no good" on Thursday around 9 p.m. on Baker Street. Police spoke to a group of youths who were playing a game, and told them not to go into their neighbor's yard.
- Authorities responded to a report of a jet ski on fire in a detached garage on Wallis Street on Sunday around 2 p.m.
- Someone reported a red car circling a neighborhood in the area of Forenza Road on Sunday around 7 p.m. Officers found the car was driven by someone learning to drive with a valid learner's permit.
- Sometime over the weekend, five plastic lawn ornaments were stolen from a Newbury Street residence, as reported Monday around 10 a.m. Pink flamingos and other plastic animals were taken.

- Police responded to a report of someone knocking on a door on Simon Street last Saturday around 7 p.m. Officers found it was a food delivery person at the door.
- Officers took a report of a skateboarder screaming on Bartlett Street last Sunday around 4 a.m. Police spoke to the skateboarder, who denied any wrongdoing, and told him to go in for the night.
- Someone reported finding cigarette butts on the windowsill of their Laurel Street home last Wednesday afternoon, but noted that no one in the family smokes cigarettes.
- Someone called police on Thursday around 11 a.m. to report a car that had "hovered" around the caller's property. The caller followed the car to Nanepashemet Street where the people got out and started jogging, which the caller found suspicious. Police found the joggers were friends of the caller's neighbor.
- Police responded to a report of a suspicious white bag or package on Atlantic Avenue on Friday around 2 p.m. Officers found it was a bag of leftovers.
- Police responded to a report of an older driver in a white Mercedes who got stuck on the beach on Gas House Lane on Sunday around 9 p.m. when "looking for 114."
