Train Service Resumes on One Track, Woman Tried to Cross in Front of Train
There are no further details available about the condition of a woman struck by a train on Monday morning at Beverly Depot.

Train service was limited to one of two tracks on Monday morning as police continued to investigate an incident where a woman was struck by a train at Beverly Depot, according to Beverly police.
It happened at 8:10 a.m. when witnesses told police that a 55-year-old female was attempting to cross in front of a train before she was struck at the station, off Park Street, according to Beverly Police Officer Michael Boccuzzi.
“The female was transported via ambulance to Beverly Hospital,” Boccuzzi said in a written statement. “The significance of her injuries is not known at this time.”

Train service was halted for about 45 minutes, Boccuzzi said. By 9:15 a.m., train service had resumed on one track while MBTA Transit Police continue the investigation.
