Sketch Up: Beverly #2

- When: Saturday, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- Where: Beverly Common
- What: Sketchers are free to move about and sketch whatever and wherever they would like. No need to stay in one fixed location! See the city! Head to the Docks! Walk to Rantoul! Stand around and chat with other artists! Be inspired by being around other artists! Bring your own sketching materials and comfortable shoes. We'll sketch until 2pm and then swarm on EJ Cabots to eat, drink and share our work with one another. (Or not share, no pressure to share.) Free event.
Fire Department Open House
- When: Saturday, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- Where: Fire Department Headquarters -- 15 Hale St.
- What: See what the department does while you enjoy a slice of pizza! Free admission.
Beverly Dog Park's 3rd Annual Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest

- When: Saturday, 12:30-3:30 p.m.
- Where: Beverly Common
- What: There will be a doggy costume contest, goodie bags, photo station, pet psychic Debra McGee, spiritual healer Laurie Drake, raffles prizes and much more! All proceeds benefit Beverly Dog Park. Registration Fee: $15 for the 1st dog, $5 each additional dog.

- Where: 19 Thoreau Cir.

2nd Annual Cove Oktoberfest 2012
- When: Sunday, 3 p.m.
- Where: Cove Community Center -- 19 E. Corning St.
- What: Local beers, root beer and cider to sample (tickets for purchase), games for kids, and our own beer garden. With fun music and a little polka what else could you ask for? This is potluck so bring your favorite dish (warm or cold) to share. Admission free for BCIA members; $10 for non-members.
