UPDATED: When Is Trick or Treating in Beverly?

Stock up on candy, because trick or treat night is approaching fast. 

In Beverly, kids will roam the streets for candy on Halloween night, Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 5-8 p.m., according to the Beverly Police Department. 

Before All Hallow's Eve, there are still plenty of opportunities for kids to collect candy. 

This upcoming weekend, Sterling YMCA is hosting a 'Halloween Spooktacular' from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27. Events will include facepainting, arts and crafts, games, and taking the 'Haunted Walk.'

Kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 

On Monday, Oct. 29, Endicott College will host their annual Safe Trick of Treat Night. The event is open to all Beverly area children up to age 12 and their families. A parent or guardian must accompany children.

Families will meet at the Field House at 6 p.m. for a party with food, games, and crafts. Trick-or-Treating will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the event ending at 8:00 PM.  All children who bring a canned food item for the College’s Halloween for the Hungry Food Drive will receive a special treat.  

The day before Halloween, Beverly Main Streets will sponsor the annual Downtown Trick or Treat event on Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 4-6pm. 

During the Downtown Trick or Treat event, kids can visit businesses on Cabot and Rantoul Street that display anorange flyer with the black cat saying “Enter Here for Treats.”  Those businesses will have treats for children (of all ages!) in costume.
