Woman Says Neighbors 'Threw Something At Her House'

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police log: 

Monday, Oct. 22

  • Police were called to Herrick Street on report of two people causing a problem, and a reported larceny of a cellphone. At 11:13 a.m. police arrested Waleed Elshazly, 34, of 12 Perkins St. in Gloucester, on charges of larceny from a person. 
  • At 11:21 a.m. police arrested George Louis, 52, of 19 Hilltop Dr. in Beverly, on charges of operating an unregistered, uninsured vehicle with a revoked license. 
  • A riding mower was reported stolen on Essex Street at 1:39 p.m.
  • Tires were reported slashed on a vehicle parked on Thorndike Street at 3:51 p.m.
  • A fight on Grant Street was reported at 5:25 p.m. Police reports stated neither parties wanted to pursue the matter in court. 
  • An unknown vehicle left Hess on Cabot Street without paying for their gas at 8:50 p.m. Police searched the area for the description of the vehicle, but did not find them. 
  • Police were called to Glidden Street on report of a suspicious man in the area at 9:35 p.m. Police did not locate anyone. 

Tuesday, Oct. 23

  • Police were called to Rantoul Street on report of a domestic dispute where a woman was reportedly banging on the door, at 12:26 a.m. When police arrived the woman had left. 
  • At 6 a.m. police were called to Balch Street on a noise complaint. 
  • Tools were reported stolen from a Northridge Road residence at 7:37 a.m.
  • Police were called to Elliott Street at 2:45 p.m. on report of a person sleeping in the bushes. 
  • Police were called to Sohier Road at 8:06 p.m. because a resident believed someone, possibly the neighbor, may have 'threw something at her house.' Police said there was no evidence that anything had been thrown at the residence. 

Wednesday, Oct. 24

  • A person reported being bit by a dog on Middlebury Lane at 3:32 p.m.
  • Police were notified of harrassing text messages at 5:05 p.m.
