'You Should Be Ashamed Of Yourself': Beverly Bike Thieves Sought
Beverly police said the bike was stolen from outside the high school field house during the Nov. 8 football game.
BEVERLY, MA — Beverly police are asking for assistance in finding a bike that was stolen from outside of the high school while a student-athlete was attending a football game — and admonishing those responsible for the theft.
Police said the student on the team had his bike stolen at about 7:55 during the Nov. 8 game and found it missing when he returned from the game.
Surveillance video (below) showed three youths being picked up by an older, dark-colored Honda Civic, which backed up and allowed the rear passenger to exit and steal the bike before driving away.
