What's next (telegram.com) — A man convicted of killing his mother in 2023 is currently being held at the Middlesex Jail in Billerica while he awaits sentencing to life in prison without parole. The case, tried in Middlesex Superior Court, involved a brutal attack that followed an earlier conviction for assaulting the same victim. An automatic appeal to the state’s highest court will follow sentencing.
