1 Shot In Mattapan
Just days after someone was fatally shot in Mattapan, police were responding to another report of a shooting.
BOSTON — Police said a person was shot in the leg on Evelyn Street just moments after someone reported about 15 to 20 gun shots in the Woodbole Street area of Mattapan Tuesday evening.
A witness told police he saw a man ran through his back yard and jumped in a car and take off, according to early scanner radio reports. Police were looking for two suspects.
Police said Blue Hill Avenue and Eveyln Street were closed, according to reports.

This shooting comes just two days after a fatal shooting down the street. But it looks like there was perhaps more to the story in that shooting.
