11-Year-Old, 3 Teens Accused Of Robbing, Kicking Woman

The woman told police she was robbed and assaulted in Mission Hill by a group of young people.

BOSTON — Three teens and an 11-year-old girl were arrested Tuesday, police said, after they attacked and robbed at least one woman in Mission Hill, sending her to the hospital.

About 9:11 p.m. on Feb. 19, officers answered a radio call for a robbery in progress in near 800 Parker Street in Roxbury. The woman told first responders she had been attacked and robbed by four teens.

The woman told police the group came up to her while she was walking on Parker Street, and that one of the boys shoved her to the ground. Two others joined him in kicking her several times in the head and body, while the fourth filmed the incident on a cell phone.

The woman said the group grabbed her cell phone and then ran off. She was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries, police said.

While en route, officers saw a group of four young people matching the description of the suspects, stopped to talk with them and found the victim’s cell phone on one of them, according to police

Officers arrested two male teens, 17 and 14, both of Mattapan, along with a 13-year-old girl from Roxbury and an 11-year-old girl from Dorchester.

The suspects are expected to be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court on charges of unarmed robbery and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon (shod foot).
