13 Total People Arrested In Aftermath Of Boston Protest: Report
The protest reportedly deteriorated when police tried to clear the street for traffic.
BOSTON, MA — A total of 13 people have been arrested in the aftermath of a protest earlier this week that reportedly turned violent, according to a report from the Boston Herald.
Osama El Khatib, 26, of Watertown and Styx Hatch, 19, of Boston were both held on $10,000 bail. The charges stem from events related to a pro-Palestine march that became problematic when police tried to clear Tremont Street in order to allow emergency vehicles to get through to a nearby call. A police officer was injured with a broken nose. Two other people were held at $7,500 bail, and three were held at $5,000.
