BOSTON — Police found two men suffering from gunshot wounds in Mattapan last night. They were taken to hospitals where they were pronounced dead. Now police are asking for the public's help as they investigate.
Around 11:10 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, police got a call for a person shot near 12 Violet Street in Mattapan. When they got there, police found two men in their late 40’s, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The two — whose names have not been released —were taken to hospitals, where they were pronounced dead, according to police.
This comes a week after a triple shooting that left a 74-year-old retired woman dead less than a half a mile away.
