The owner of a Brookline deli said he's getting threats from customers who are refusing to wear face masks in his restaurant.
Steven Peljovich, the owner of Michael's Deli, said a small group of customers is making life hard by not respecting the rules and lashing out if they are asked to put on a mask or wait outside for their orders.

"It's really hard when you are trying to run a business and you need all the revenue you can get, to try to accommodate people like that as politely as you can when they don't even want to talk to you about it," Peljovich said. "When you ask them to wear masks and they tell me I can go screw. That is not what they say, but it is what they mean – the language they use I can't tell you. Or they threaten to never come back."

Man Charged In South Shore Plaza Shooting Held Without Bail
A Boston man prosecutors said shot a 15-year-old girl after a fight broke out at the South Shore Plaza was ordered held without bail following a dangerousness hearing.
Jose Rodriguez, 21, of Boston, was deemed too dangerous to release Wednesday at a virtual hearing at Quincy District Court. He was charged with assault to murder, assault and battery on a child with substantial injuries, reckless endangerment of a child, assault and battery with a firearm and several gun charges. He pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Prosecutors said the shooting happened just before 4:30 p.m., July 3 while Rodriguez and others were in line at Expressions and a second group stood behind them.
Dumping Iron: Some In MetroWest Still Wary Of Gyms
Gyms across Massachusetts were allowed to start reopening when phase 3 began on July 6, which for some was a welcome change after about three months in coronavirus quarantine without access to treadmills, rowing machines and kettle balls.
But many local residents aren't flocking back to the gym yet, wary of a virus that spreads easily in enclosed spaces — even as cases in Massachusetts remain low compared to peaks seen in April and May.
We asked Patch readers in the MetroWest area to tell us what they think about returning to the gym this summer. Some are eagerly returning, comparing a workout to going to a big-box store. Others are still worried about the risk of contracting the virus.
