NJ Police Chief Charged With Kidnapping In Boston: Report
The Totowa, New Jersey, chief of police was also charged with domestic assault, according to NBC Boston.
BOSTON, MA — A New Jersey police chief was charged with kidnapping in Boston, NBC Boston reported.
"Carmen Veneziano, 47, of Totowa, New Jersey — who also serves as the police chief in Totowa — was indicted Thursday in Boston for kidnapping and three counts of domestic assault and battery, the Suffolk District Attorney's Office said," according to NBC Boston, adding Veneziano was charged in connection with an incident in a Back Bay hotel room.
Suffolk County District Attorney Chief of Communications James Borghesani failed to return a call for comment.

Veneziano was arrested Friday by officers assigned to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office in New Jersey, according to NBC Boston, which reported the incident occurred in September.
