Arrest Made In Connection To Boston's Newbury Street Shooting
Police have identified and arrested Brandon Sicard, 29, of Boston in connection to Wednesday night's shooting.

BOSTON — Newbury and Fairfield Streets were active crime scenes Wednesday night after more than a dozen shots were fired in the middle of the busy tourist-filled area.
Police have arrested Brandon Sicard, 29, of Boston in connection to the shooting.
Officers arrived at the scene around 7:45 p.m. noting there was damage to at least one storefront and a car had a windshield shattered with what appeared to be a bullet hole.

Further investigation found that no one was struck or injured in the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing and more information is set to be released at a later time.

Sicard is charged with assault by means of a dangerous weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm and firearm discharged within 500 feet of a dwelling.
Sicard is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
