Back-To-School Bites: Best Eats Around Boston's College Campuses
"Boston Foodies" blogger Tiffany Lopinsky shares some of her favorite dining spots around Boston College, Emerson, MIT and more.

August is coming to a close, which means the students at Boston’s many universities are returning to the city for the fall semester. In honor of the back-to-school season, here are a few great eats surrounding some of Boston’s college campuses:
Pinocchio’s Pizza
A notorious late-night spot in the middle of Harvard Square, Pinocchio’s Pizza (known to students as “Noch’s”) is a beloved spot serving up thick Sicilian-style slices.

Cafe Landwer
With two Boston locations — one close to Boston University and another recently-opened location close to Boston College — students can satisfy all of their breakfast and brunch cravings at Cafe Landwer, a Mediterranean style café. Don’t leave without trying their signature “Rosalach,” delicious mini bites made with stone oven dough and a chocolate hazelnut cream, topped with powdered sugar.

Il Mondo Pizza
Another beloved pizza spot (and my favorite place to grab a buffalo chicken slice!) is Il Mondo Pizza. It's located right by Berklee College’s campus and is known for its huge slices.

Mamaleh's
MIT students are lucky to have Mamaleh’s Restaurant right around the corner from their campus. It’s a modern Jewish deli restaurant that opened in the summer of 2016 and is still attracting long lines every weekend for their beloved brunch service.

Explorateur
This beautiful spot right by Emerson’s campus quickly became the hottest study spot when they opened last year. Explorateur, which is located in the beautifully renovated Historic Masonic Lodge across from Boston Common has an expansive study space as well as a café, restaurant, and bar all under one roof.
