BOSTON – On May 1, Youth Villages honored Mark O’Donnell, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts’ (BBBSEM) President and CEO, at the annual Red Kite Night. As a founding board member of the organization, O’Donnell was recognized for his commitment to ensuring opportunities for youth reach their full potential.

The event, held at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston, featured a reception, seated dinner, and speaking program that showcased the impactful work of Youth Villages, highlighting programs such as LifeSet and intensive in-home therapies and treatments. The organization’s largest fundraiser of the year supports children, families and young adults to live successfully and independently through intensive in-home and community-based treatment.

BBBSEM has supported more than 25,000 youth over the past seven decades. Earlier this year, the agency and Big Sister Association of Greater Boston (BSAGB) merged to expand access to one-to-one youth mentoring programs and resources for hundreds of children, families, and volunteer mentors across the region.
