Boston CEO Tapped for Trump Advisory Group
Richer Lesser, CEO of Boston Consulting Group, will be called upon to advise President-elect Donald Trump on economic matters.
New York, NY – A Boston CEO made the cut Friday for President-elect Donald Trump's newly announced list of advisers, business-people who make up his Strategic and Policy Forum and who will serve as consultants on economic matters.
Or, as the press release from the President-elect put it, "The Forum, which is composed of some of America’s most highly respected and successful business leaders, will be called upon to meet with the President frequently to share their specific experience and knowledge as the President implements his plan to bring back jobs and Make America Great Again."
The Forum will be chaired by Stephen A. Schwarzman, Chairman, CEO, and Co-Founder of Blackstone.

From Boston comes Rich Lesser, President and CEO of Boston Consulting Group. Per a bio shared by the Trump transition team, Lesser is also a member of several leading organizations, such as the World Economic Forum's International Business Council and the US Business Roundtable. He received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S.E. in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan.
Lesser and his fellow Forum members will, per the press release, "be charged with providing their individual views to the President – informed by their unique vantage points in the private sector – on how government policy impacts economic growth, job creation, and productivity. The Forum is designed to provide direct input to the President from many of the best and brightest in the business world in a frank, non-bureaucratic, and non-partisan manner."

He'll be at the White House in the first week of February for the Forum's first meeting, according to the press release.
Oh, and here's a fun fact. One Mitt Romney (aka Trump's maybe possibly potential Secretary of State pick) is one of many famous alumni of Boston Consulting Group.
