Boston Club Bans Patron For Racial Harassment Towards DJ

Boston's famous gay-friendly Club Cafe says they will not be tolerating any form of racism in their space.

BOSTON — During an event dedicated to hip hop and international music last week, Club Cafe says one of their resident DJs experienced racial harassment for playing Latino music.

On July 21, someone requested money via Venmo from DJ FrenchY for the music she was playing.

“Thursdays at Club Café are an inclusive evening dedicated to hip hop and international music, and requests from the DJ are not required to be fulfilled,” the club said in a statement.
