Boston Firefighters Take Down Jersey Street Fire In Intense Heat
Four people are now displaced after a fire ripped through the top floor of an apartment on Jersey Street near Fenway.

BOSTON — Fire crews worked in intense levels of heat Wednesday afternoon to battle a blaze in a multi-family home in Boston.
According to the Boston Fire Department, the fire broke out just before 1 p.m. at a multi-family home on Jersey Street near Boston's Fenway neighborhood.
The fire started on the top floor, and crews were able to keep it contained to the single unit, officials said.

There were no injuries to report, but the damage was estimated to be around $125,000, and four people are now displaced.
Boston is currently seeing temperatures in the mid-90s Wednesday.

"The Incident Commander is doing a good job of rotating members in this extreme heat and humidity to keep the members fresh and hydrated," Boston Fire Department said on Twitter.
