Boston Lines up to Celebrate Shake Shack's 100th Restaurant: Photos

And to get free burgers, of course.

Bostonians lined up to be the first 100 to receive free burgers from Shake Shack Tuesday, marking the chain's 100th location, which opened this morning in the Seaport district.

Shake Shack also marked the occasion by partnering with lauded Boston chefs Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonnette of the South End's Coppa restaurant, to create the Coppa Burger. The limited edition offering is made with an Angus beef patty, topped with provolone cheese, griddle mortadella, cherry peppers, caramelized onions, mayo and shredded lettuce.

The special burger will be available Aug. 16-21 at Shake Shack's Massachusetts locations.
