BOSTON — The Museum of Fine Arts will reopen Feb. 3, in alignment with Boston’s return to Step 1 of Phase 3 of the state's reopening plan.
"Museums are places of shared experience, and we’re pleased to once again open our doors so that Bostonians can connect with art and with each other," said Matthew Teitelbaum, Ann and Graham Gund director. "We continue to support the administration in efforts to keep our communities safe, and we remain committed to the highest standards of safety we can offer our visitors."
In addition to following previously introduced safety policies and procedures—including advance timed-entry tickets and a mask requirement for all visitors— museum officials said they will operate at the limited 25 percent capacity.

February tickets will become available this week for early access ticket holders with canceled December 2020 tickets, then MFA members and then the general public at mfa.org/visit.
The museum's reopening comes as Gov. Charlie Baker said it's "OK to start a gradual easing of restrictions," though many will remain through the near future.
