Boston Police Release Attempted Kidnapping Suspect's Photo

Boston police are asking for the public's help in their search for a suspect who they say tried to kidnap a woman near Tufts Medical Center.

BOSTON — The Boston Police Department is turning to the public for help locating a suspect who they say tried to kidnap a woman on the Tufts Medical Center Campus Thursday morning.

Police say the man came up to the woman from behind, placing his hands on her face while dragging her toward an alley around 5:20 a.m. by 830 Washington Street.

The woman said she screamed for help and was able to escape the suspect with only minor injuries.

The man then allegedly ran away on foot.
