BOSTON, MA — For the first time ever, a Boston restaurant was awarded a Michelin Star last year, and now it's been delivered.
311 Omakase, a Japanese restaurant in the city's South End neighborhood, earned Boston's first Michelin Star in November. The restaurant, which opened in 2023, is known for its lavish omakase experience, in which courses are selected by the chef.
The star was delivered to Chef Wei Chen, co-owner Carrie Ko, and their team on Monday, according to the Boston Globe.
