Legend says the property was said to have been passed down from a father to his two sons to share.

When the siblings went on to fight in the Civil War, one brother decided to take the property for himself, building a large home on the property.

When the other brother came home from battle, he found his share of the land had been taken over by his brother.

Out of spite, the newly returned brother fought back by building the skinny house in the remainder of the land, blocking the brother's light and view.

The home was built in 1862, according to a plaque on the facade, and offers four floors about 1,165 square feet of living space.

According to Facebook, the home "received multiple offers and went under agreement for over list price in less than one week," real estate agency CL Properties posted.
