Boston's Hard Rock Cafe Set To Close

After 15 years, the Faneuil Hall location is set to close when its lease expires in June.

BOSTON — Boston's Hard Rock Cafe is set to close when its lease expires in June.

But this might not be the end of the iconic music restaurant's reign in Boston. Having first opened in Boston's Back Bay in 1989, the Hard Rock Cafe moved locations in 2007 - switching to Faneuil Hall - and the company says they are open to doing that again.

Jonathan Goldman, a spokesperson for Hard Rock International hinted to Boston Restaurant Talk that moving could happen again, adding that the restaurant is "open to having another location within the market if the right space can be identified."
