Bruins, Celtics Return To Boston For Playoffs
No U.S. city has won all four major sports championships in the same season. The Patriots and Red Sox both won titles recently.

BOSTON — The Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins continue their playoff runs this week during a potentially historic season for Beantown teams. The New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox both recently won titles; no U.S. city has ever won all four major sports championships during the same season. The Celtics and Bruins are both in the second round of the postseason and tied in their respective series.
The so-called "Boston Slam" may represent the apocalypse for the rest of the country's sport fans accustomed to Bay State teams' recent dominance. The Patriots (3), Red Sox (2), Bruins (1) and Celtics (1) have won at least one championship over the last 11 years.
The Bruins are tied with the Columbus Blue Jackets 2-2 in that series while the Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks are also tied 1-1.

New for @WSJ: The Red Sox won a title. Then the Patriots won a title. The Celtics and Bruins may not be favorites, but they're still in the championship hunt. Be afraid. My thoughts on the brewing national nightmare they're calling "The Boston Slam" https://t.co/ZPUXnJFEfe
