BU Mascot's Name Could Be Gone ... With The Wind: Patch PM

The Boston University mascot appears safe, but the name of that mascot may not be. School officials are examining whether it is appropriate to keep the Boston University Terriers' "Rhett."

The mascot was named after Clark Gable's character in "Gone With The Wind." In the classic movie, Rhett is in love with Scarlett. As it turns out, scarlet is the university's color.

Massachusetts has the best coronavirus testing and tracing regime in the country, according to an analysis by #TestAndTrace, an organization working to help implement the virus-suppression system in the United States.

The organization tracks the amount of testing and contact tracing done by each state, and awards points states with low rates of positive results and high numbers of tracers per positive test.

Amazon said it will bring thousands of jobs to Massachusetts, where it has signed leases to open eight delivery stations.

Both full- and part-time positions with a minimum of $15 per hour and benefits are being offered. Delivery stations are where packages get sorted and loaded to be delivered.
