Interested in making a meaningful impact on students in your community? Join this volunteer information session to learn more about becoming a mentor and supporting middle and high school students through hands-on, real-world projects. As a volunteer mentor, you’ll work directly with students to build critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills—while sharing your own experiences, answering their big questions, and helping them connect classroom learning to future possibilities.
Volunteers meet with students for one hour each week during the school day, and we schedule placements based on your availability. This spring, we are placing volunteers at three partner schools in Chelsea and Cambridge. In just a few hours spread across the semester, you can play a powerful role in guiding students as they tackle real challenges in their local communities. This session will cover the role, time commitment, school locations, and next steps, with plenty of time for questions.
