Car Strikes Three in Boston

Three pedestrians were injured, reportedly while crossing the street.

A vehicle reportedly struck three pedestrians, including a child and a man in a wheelchair, Tuesday night in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood.

According to police, the incident happened near Seaver Street and Blue Hill Avenue about 8:30 p.m.

The victims — a 10-year-old girl, her 40-year-old father, and a wheelchair-bound 22-year-old — were struck while crossing the street, sustaining non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Boston Police Department.

As of Tuesday night, no charges have been filed against the driver, who remained on scene, The Associated Press reported.
