BOSTON, MA — As the Boston-wide moving mayhem and attendant scramble for parking kicks into high gear, the city reports that there's a problem with the system.
In a tweet late Tuesday morning, the city said its site for paying parking tickets and securing permits is down:
Parking ticket and permit systems on our website are offline due to a power outage at our vendor's data center. pic.twitter.com/9yLi5a0MPD

Scheduled hearings for parking ticket appeals will be on hold until systems are back online, the city said.
