Crane Tips On Its Side At Dorchester Construction Site
The Boston Fire Department says they sent in a technical rescue team to the Dorchester Ave. construction site, but no one was injured.
DORCHESTER, MA — Multiple helicopters flew overhead while firetrucks lined Dorchester Avenue Tuesday morning after a crane tipped on its side before falling over at a Dorchester construction site.
The Boston Fire Department sent a technical rescue team to the site, which is located on the corner of Dorchester Ave. and Crescent Ave just after 10 a.m.
No one was injured when the crane fell, according to the Boston Fire Department.

The construction site is expected to turn into a five-story, mixed-use building with 38 residential units wrapped up in 43,800-square-feet. Construction on the project started after a building permit was granted back in January.
