Deadly Downtown Crossing Stabbing Suspect Arrested
A 47-year-old Boston man is facing charges in connection to a fatal stabbing in Downtown Crossing last month.

BOSTON — A man from Boston is facing serious charges in connection with a deadly stabbing in Downtown Crossing last month.
Anthony Nguyen, 47, of Boston, was arrested on charges of assault with intent to murder and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon at the time of the incident, police say.
On Feb. 7, around 10 p.m., two men broke out in a verbal dispute at the MBTA Downtown Crossing Station. It wasn't long before the dispute turned physical, and police responded to a 911 call for a report of a stabbing, transit police said.

29-year-old Jaquan Rowell was found suffering from life-threatening stab wounds and taken to a nearby hospital and died more than three weeks later on March 1.
The BPD Homicide Unit continues to investigate this matter in coordination with the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office.
