Delays At Logan Caused By Snow, Ice: FAA

Many inbound and outbound flights at Logan Airport are being delayed due to snow, ice and other weather conditions.

BOSTON, MA — A ground stop has been issued at Logan International Airport for snow and ice removal, causing delays to inbound flights, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. This may cause delays to outbound flights, as well.

The delayed arriving flights will be an average of one hour and 53 minutes late, the FAA said.

Flights headed from Logan to Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport in Montréal, Quebec, Canada, are delayed averaging one hour and 28 minutes due to snow and ice.

Flights headed from Logan to Newark International Airport in Newark, New Jersey, are delayed averaging two hours and 16 minutes due to low cloud levels.

Flights headed from Logan to Philadelphia International Airport, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, are delayed averaging one hour and 17 minutes due to low cloud levels.
