Disabled Train On Fitchburg Commuter Line Prompts Serious Delays
A train broke down at the Wachusett station, and it's been slow going, creating delays of more than an hour on the commuter line.

BOSTON — The commuter rail's Fitchburg Line is working to get back going after a disabled train held it up at the Wachussett station. Commuter rail authorities said trains have recently been able to get around the disabled train, but there are still backups.
The MBTA says watch for delays up to an hour, though some commuter rail riders are tweeting they have had to wait nearly two hours for a train.
And it's not the day to be standing around outside waiting for a train. Dress warm, folks.

Not one train has left Wachusett in almost two hours. It’s 15 degrees. Unacceptable. @universalhub @wbz @7News @WCVB https://t.co/qqJF46Z2Ib

.@MBTA_CR, my hands are finally unfrozen enough to tweet that I waited on the South Acton #MBTA platform for 20 minutes, after the 404 was cancelled, and 406 was so delayed due to disabled train - left to hitch a ride w/ friend. 100s of commuters waiting along #Fitchburg line....
