Features of the new Boston space include doggie exercise equipment and pet fountains, Massport says.

BOSTON, MA — State and local officials gathered with a host of canine friends Thursday to formally open South Boston's new East First Street Dog Park.
The quarter-acre park has public benches, a pet fountain, doggie exercise equipment and additional landscaped area surrounding the perimeter, according to the operator, Massport.
It can be found between M and O Streets, directly across the street from the M Street Park basketball courts.
