One Injured In 3-Alarm Fire At Triple-Decker In Mattapan
Fire crews say the wind is helping to push the flames further through the building, causing even more damage to the building.

MATTAPAN, MA — Police say one person was injured due to smoke inhalation as Boston firefighters worked to battle a three-alarm fire in a Mattapan triple-decker Thursday afternoon.
That person has been taken to the hospital but police have not released an update on the extent of their injuries.
Fire crews responded to the scene at 1333 Blue Hill Ave where large flames were seen coming out of the top floor of the three-story building.

The heavy fire made its way to the roof, with thick black smoke filling the neighborhood, firefighters said. Multiple deck guns were deployed as companies worked to contain the blaze.
Fire officials say the wind helped push the flames throughout the building causing even more damage.
