Heat, Severe Storms Return To Massachusetts Tuesday
Potentially dangerous thunderstorms will be scattered across the state after it hits 90 degrees in most places.

Last week it was sweltering. This weekend it was soaking. Tuesday is expected to be both.
Temperatures are headed toward 90 degrees before severe thunderstorms pop up around Massachusetts, making for a potentially dangerous day.
It's going to feel like it's in the mid-90s by the early afternoon for most of the state. The same kind of heat blast is expected Wednesday. The National Weather Service has a heat advisory in effect for much of the area.

Looking ahead, Massachusetts remains in Tropical Storm Elsa's "cone of uncertainty" — the path it could potentially as it travels up the coast — could still shift toward the ocean as it approaches New England late this week.
