How Has Trump Responded To The Election?

On Nov. 3, millions of Americans headed to the polls to vote in-person the presidential election, while many had already voted early or by mail-in ballot. On Nov. 7, Joe Biden was projected to be the 46th president of the United States reaching the necessary 270 electoral college votes for office after winning Pennsylvania.

But, throughout the counting process, Trump has continued to object to the validity of some ballots, especially mail-in ballots, many from swing states that Trump needed to win to thus keep office. Over the course of the election, Trump has tweeted to stop counting the votes, that the votes are fraudulent and that he has won the presidency. A number of these tweets have been taken down by Twitter for being “misleading.”

Trump’s legal team is still continuing to pursue his presidency. Trump has filed multiple lawsuits in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, Nevada, and Arizona since states have started to count votes and process their results. A number of these lawsuits have since been dismissed. The DOJ is now beginning to investigate voter fraud, despite there being no evidence that fraud occurred.
