If Lester Holt is Late Tonight, It Might Be Boston's Fault
The NBC Nightly News host tweeted that he was stuck on the tarmac. Think he can make it?
BOSTON, MA — If the rain's inconvenienced you today in Boston, just think — you could be running late to your nationally broadcast nightly news show.
NBC's Lester Holt tweeted from the tarmac Tuesday at Logan International Airport that he was stuck on the ground, along with a picture of pouring rain. "Just over 2 hours til NBC Nightly News," he tweeted. "Mission impossible?"
It's now turned into a race against time.

A few minutes later, it seems, Holt got his wish. But will he get back in time? The tweets went out around 4:30 p.m., and Nightly News goes live at 6:30 ET.
Engines starting. Plane taxiing. Cell phones on plane mode as requested. Flight time 50 minutes. La Guardia here we come. Wish me luck.
