'Incendiary Device' Reportedly Found on Boston Police Officer's Lawn

Nobody was hurt, and it's unclear at this time whether police were targeted.

BOSTON, MA — An incendiary device described as "Molotov Cocktail-like" is under investigation after it was found in a Boston Police Department officer's yard, according to multiple reports.

An image released by police shows a burn mark on the lawn and what appears to be a Corona beer bottle with a rag poking out the top. Nobody was injured, and burnt grass was the only damage done, according to police.

That device was found in an officer's yard, but it is unknown at this time whether the officer was targeted or the incident represents merely a random act. Boston Mayor Marty Walsh assured Fox 25 that incident is under investigation, and police will "get to the bottom of this."
