Jassy Correia Abduction Suspect Arrested; Unidentified Body Found
The kidnapping suspect from Rhode Island is in custody. Police have not confirmed the identity of the body found.
BOSTON — The Rhode Island man wanted in the kidnapping of Jassy Correia is in custody and an unidentified body has been found, according to authorities.
Police said the identity of the body has not been confirmed, nor has the manner of death.
Louis D. Coleman III, 32, of Providence was arrested in Delaware Thursday afternoon. Providence Police Chief Hugh Clements said there was a body found in a car in Delaware, but it has not been identified. Clements said it is being treated as a homicide investigation.

"A body has been recovered and we are awaiting a positive identification at this time," according to a statement by the Boston Police. "The cause and manner of death are pending. This remains an active and ongoing, multi-agency, multi-jurisdictional investigation."
Police searched Coleman's Providence apartment building earlier Thursday. They did not say what was found.

Police did not announce charges for Coleman.
Correia, 23, of Dorchester, was last seen around 12:15 a.m. Sunday shortly after leaving the Venu Nightclub on Tremont Street in Boston. She was accompanied by who police now say was Coleman. Correia was later seen entering what police believe to be a red Nissan Altima with him near Tremont and Herald streets.
