Man Stabbed In East Boston Dies: Police

He was taken to the hospital Sunday with life-threatening injuries, but he succumbed Wednesday, police said.

BOSTON — The man who was stabbed Sunday morning in East Boston has died, and now police are asking for the public's help in the investigation.

About 1:55 a.m. on Feb. 17, someone called 911 to report a person stabbed in the area of Chelsea Street in East Boston.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a stab wound. EMTs transported to a hospital, where he was being treated for life- threatening injuries. On Wednesday the man succumbed to his injuries, police said in a statement.
