Man Wanted In Mattapan Murder Arrested In Florida
Christopher Howard, 39, is suspected of stabbing 40-year-old Terkeshia Boykins to death in Boston's Mattapan neighborhood last week.

BOSTON — The man wanted on a murder charge in Boston in connection to the stabbing death of a woman in Mattapan last week was arrested in Jacksonville, Florida on Tuesday.
Christopher Howard, 39, was arrested on a fugitive from justice charge and is due to appear in court Wednesday, according to Jacksonville Sheriff's Department.
Police say Howard is accused of fatally stabbing 40-year-old Terkeshia Boykins from Mattapan on Tuesday, May 10.

Boykins was found on Rosewood Street just before 10 p.m., suffering from apparent stab wounds. Officers at the Boston Police Department declared her dead at the scene.
Boston police did not disclose what Howard's relationship to Boykins was, but an initial report indicated that the incident was considered to be "domestic."
