BOSTON, MA — It's still nothing like the Christmas-y layer of white that's been blanketing the Midwest this week, but at least a little more snow is on its way to Massachusetts.
More snow is expected Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, the National Weather Service said. However, Boston and other towns near the coast will likely take a pass.
Further inland, NWS is predicting less than an inch could fall overnight in places like Foxborough and Worcester, while the state's Westernmost edge could receive around two inches of snowfall.

Just like Tuesday morning, chilly temps during the early morning hours mean commuters may want to take it slow, as low temperatures mean the roads remain slick in many spots.

On Tuesday, NWS warned commuters, "Beware patchy black ice this morning. Untreated surfaces may be slippery. Give yourself a little extra time for travel this morning."
It was good advice then and, really, any time going forward as December's chilly mornings settle in. Travel safe!
