Massachusetts Weather: 2 Weeks Of Rain

The latest Boston-area weather forecast calls for rain 11 of the next 14 days.

BOSTON — April showers indeed. Rain is forecast for 11 of the next 14 days in the Boston area. The rain will be accompanied by stiff winds that will make it downright raw outside. Friday. Saturday will be one of the only dry day of the weekend and winds will intensify.

"Anyone doing yard work, attending Major League Baseball games and school sporting events or just running errands will have to add more layers than they may want to at this point in the season to stay comfortable," AccuWeather meteorologist Renee Duff wrote. "Rain will linger across northern New England to start the weekend as strong winds whip and temperatures tumble in the balance of the Northeast."

Conditions will be worse this weekend in New York and Pennsylvania, as snow is expected.
