Microsoft Closing All MA Locations For Good

Microsoft is closing all but four of its retail locations across the globe, meaning all three in Massachusetts will not be reopening.

Microsoft has locations at the Prudential Center, Burlington Mall and Natick Mall. They have been closed since the pandemic forced most retailers to shut down physical locations.

The only retail locations the technology company is keeping open are London, New York City, Sydney and Redmond, Wash.

"As we look forward, we start a new chapter for Microsoft Store," Microsoft said in a statement. "Our team has proven success serving customers beyond any physical location. We are energized about the opportunity to innovate in how we engage with all customers, optimize our talent for greatest impact, and most importantly – help our valued customers achieve more."
