One Dead After Daytime Shooting Near Boston School: Police
Wyoming and Wabeno streets remain closed while police work to investigate the deadly shooting near the Trotter School in Roxbury.

ROXBURY, MA — A person was killed after a shooting in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood Wednesday, and Boston police are actively working to investigate the scene.
The victim, later identified only as a man in his mid-50s, was found suffering gunshot wounds after police were called to a shooting near the intersection of Wyoming and Wabeno streets around 11:40 a.m.
The Trotter School was put in a "Safe Mode" lockdown that lasted about ten minutes while Wyoming and Wabeno streets continue to be closed.
